In the heart of a meticulously renovated apartment that embodies the quintessence of Parisian elegance, we've undertaken a project that seamlessly marries classic architectural beauty with contemporary design nuances. Drawing inspiration from the timeless Parisian-style decor, known for its sophisticated blend of historical charm and modern flair, we've created spaces that celebrate high ceilings, herringbone parquet floors, and exquisite marble fireplaces. Our approach was to enhance these classical features with carefully selected decor pieces, following the interior styling rules that make Parisian interiors uniquely captivating. From the reception to the master ensuite, each room has been thoughtfully designed to reflect the sophisticated and elegant essence of Parisian chic, ensuring that the decor is both timeless and inviting.
The reception room serves as a grand introduction to the apartment's elegant design ethos. We've laid down herringbone wooden flooring, a hallmark of Parisian aesthetics, setting a warm and inviting tone. The space is anchored by a Flakes Round Rug by Damien Langlois-Meurinne, paired with a curved sofa from The Invisible Collection, creating an organic seating area that echoes the curved doorways, adding a modern twist to the classic decor. Decorative cornicing and wall paneling pay homage to the traditional Parisian craftsmanship, while a room divider ensures the desk area at the back remains private yet integrated. The seamless integration of cartridge heading curtains and sheers, recessed into the ceiling, along with the Callacata oro fireplace and the Collier De Perles Étagées Chandelier by Semeur D'Étoiles, all combine to create a reception room that is both sophisticated and welcoming.
The master bedroom is a sanctuary of tranquility and refined elegance. Continuing the theme of herringbone wooden flooring, the room is a testament to the timeless appeal of Parisian decor. A Lilypad Chandelier Bubble by Laura Gonzalez introduces a soft, ethereal light, complementing the Peonia Armchair by Le Berre Vevaud, which adds a touch of contemporary comfort. The room is framed with decorative cornicing and wall paneling, enriching the space with layers of texture and depth. Cartridge heading curtains and sheers, meticulously recessed into the ceiling, enhance the room's seamless elegance, creating a serene and luxurious retreat that remains true to the Parisian ethos of understated sophistication.
The master ensuite is a masterpiece of marble and metal, where luxury meets functionality in a stunning display of Parisian chic. Walls adorned with Callacatta Viola marble slabs from floor to ceiling create a lavish backdrop, while a niche in the shower, detailed with a slim marble trim, adds an artistic touch. The continuity of the herringbone pattern is cleverly mirrored in the floor tile, connecting the ensuite with the wooden floors of the apartment, and Venetian shutters add a layer of privacy and style. Antique bronze brassware and sanitary fittings, along with the Apparatus Talisman Loop Sconce wall lights, provide the finishing touches to this opulent space, making the master ensuite not just a room, but a celebration of the finest elements of Parisian style decor.
