timescale: 1.5 Years
scope of works: FULL INTERIOR DESIGN & BESPOKE JOINERY SERVICE
This Knightsbridge apartment, a haven for a young, discerning client, underwent a dramatic transformation. Stripped to its core, this turn-key project was meticulously curated to include every aspect of luxury living—from bespoke artwork and accessories to a complete overhaul of the interior structure.
Stepping into this space, one is immediately captivated by the grandeur of Calacatta marble flooring. The addition of large, Envo double doors in antique brass not only amplifies the space but also bathes it in light from the adjacent reception. Panelled walls create a textured backdrop to custom joinery, featuring antique mirrored door fronts, blending utility with elegance. A centerpiece Haberdashery light, sculpted from porcelain leaves edged in bronze and gold, casts a warm glow over a Tom Faulkner entrance table, boasting a smoked bronze glass top and an antique brass base. Complementing this is an Art et Floritude wall sculpture, backlit to exude a welcoming aura.
In the reception area, custom joinery conceals air-conditioning units, complementing a wall-mounted TV above a Nero Marquina marble fireplace. The space is adorned with a custom rug from the Juliette Byrne Inspired Collection, crafted from sustainable materials. A Robert Langford curved sofa, accented with blush-toned scatters, anchors the space. The dining area, defined by herringbone parquet flooring from Arkone, features a border and antique brass trim. Hand-painted Fromental wallpaper with crystal birds and flowers, an antique mirror, and a Serip pendant light create a mesmerising dining ambiance. Motorised window dressings, seamlessly integrated into the AV system, add to the room’s luxurious feel.
The master bedroom, accessed through double doors from the entrance hall, exudes grandeur with a ceiling-height headboard by Robert Langford. A custom-made dressing table with Calacatta Viola marble top and antique brass legs sits elegantly between flowing curtains. The plush silk carpet underfoot adds to the room's opulence.
The dressing room features LED-lit, hand-painted Fromental door fronts, a built-in desk area against a backdrop of exquisite joinery, and ample storage meticulously designed for an extensive collection of shoes and bags, with open shelving tailored to the client’s specific needs.
